Ina-Garten
Ina Garden is a famous American cookbook author who has received Emmy award. She hosts the oldest Food Network show Barefoot Contessa. The show premiered in 2002. The show will run for 27 more seasons. Ina began her career by working in the White House, writing the nuclear energy budget as well as policy documents. Her first impression was that her job interesting and stimulating however, she eventually lost interest and opened a food specialty store called Barefoot Contessa. Prior to selling the company it took her 18 years building it into a highly successful store. A number of other cookbooks and magazine columns came later. Her Food Network television program also debuted and quickly became popular. She also sells a range of product from cooking ingredients to storage and equipment. Ina herself, a self-taught chef, has never studied at the culinary institute or at an establishment. Ina is known for her relaxed way of cooking and entertaining. Her most well-known recipes include quick and easy recipes, such as Skillet of Roasted Lemon Chicken, Macaroni and Cheese using Beef Bourguignon as well as the Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts.
