Annie Mist Thorisdottir, an experienced professional CrossFit athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. The co-owner is Crossfit Reykjavik where she also is a coach and trainer. Annie was the first woman ever to be crowned winner of CrossFit Games on two occasions. She placed second in the both the 2010 and 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir is from Iceland - a CrossFit weightlifter and media celeb as well as a CrossFit competitors - is an Icelandic CrossFit athlete from Iceland. The woman was the first winner at The CrossFit Games in 2011, and 2012, twice. The other accomplishments she has achieved include winning Dubai Fitness Competitions in 2013, 2017 and 2013. Annie, along with her parents and siblings were birthed in Reykjavik Iceland. From a very young age Annie was an avid sport fan who loved working out. Many medals were awarded to her in competitions for school. Her first participation was time in 2009 at the CrossFit Games held in California In the event, she came out extremely well. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. under the direction of Jami Tikkanen, Annie placed 2nd in CrossFit Games and was awarded the Silver Medal that year. Next year she took part in CrossFit Games and took home the gold medal because of her dominating performance. The first woman to ever take home a gold medal in CrossFit Games. In 2012 Annie also won the CrossFit Games because of her extraordinary performance. She became the first woman athlete who won two CrossFit Games consecutively. In addition, she was awarded a medal of silver in 2014 and a medal of bronze in CrossFit Games in 2021. Presently, Annie coaches and trains in Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. After gaining fame as an athlete Annie is a model of various sports brands including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance the Nuun Hydration Periodization Sidekick among others. There are a few thousand subscribers to her own Youtube channel, which she uses to upload training videos, family video and travel-related vlogs.
